- anne thompson Review added: 2018.01.26★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Hotel a bit tired but the guy on reception was very, very good. Very professional and helpful. Room adequate for one night stay. There was a fire alarm, which turned out to be false, so had to evacuate hotel. There was a snow storm at time. Directions to car park misleading. Ignore barrier references - non existant. The car park is the service station car park! Not sure how hard it would be to amend web site details.... No hot water for shower in morning. Tried several times to obtain some but nothing. Had to boil kettle to have a quick wash. No one on reception when I left and didn't have time to hang about.
